I've been asked a lot recently for tutorials of how I paint.  I have a series of blog entries I did a year ago that shows my prep work before the final painting, ie: thumbnails, final sketch,etc.  You can see that here:

I had planned on finishing the tutorial and will eventually when I find the time.  As for my finished painting technique, I have a time lapse video of painting I did for charity at Blizzcon 2009.  The video is an example of one of the ways I work.  Since this was done at an event and had to be finished before I left, there are lots of short-cuts and rushed sections of the painting.  Normally I would take 3-4 times as long on an illustration taking more care in each area of the painting.  Here is the link to the video:
